It’s the season of Game at present and Irish meats like Pheasant, duck, Venison and Grouse are readily available... My meat of the month is Venison. Please be careful where you purchase yours. There is a problem at the moment in areas of Ireland with poachers and it’s not only salmon or wild trout being damaged. The Irish population of Deer in Wicklow is being decimated by unscrupulous poachers...Please yours from a repuable source... Simply when cooking Venison cook it slowly and keep it moist.... |
