My story ~ Its not to boaring
My name is Thomas Redmond have i been cooking pigs on the spit for a number of years now and i believe that its not only exciting to see but their taste is amazing taste too.
I am thankful that my father Paddy introduced me to the kitchen from a very early age. I am, originally from kildare, but i have spent life as a young adult travelling and honing his culinary skills throughout the Americas and Europe, and it was at the Munich Beer festival he saw his first spit roast, from there he was captivated!
My wife Evelyn ,and i work from Athy and hold a view of opening a bbq restraunt in the future.............hopefully 2012 ( I hope)
About the Company
Our family company is based on the belief that our customers' needs are of the utmost importance. Our entire team is committed to meeting those needs. As a result, a high percentage of our business is from repeat customers and referrals. Our meats are always roasted to mouth-watering perfection. By using aesthetic stainless steel gas-fuelled spits, there is no smoke and your carvery is always ready to be served at your specified time. If required, we can also cook indoors. Whether a corporate or private function, our responsibility and pleasure, is to ensure that you relax and enjoy your party. We stay and clean up and offer what we believe is the most professional service throughout the 32 counties.
Our pigs are from a local man here in kildare, organic pigs can be sourced too if needs be. We would welcome the opportunity to earn your trust and deliver you the best service in the industry.
I would at this Point like to thank my staff who work very hard for their very positive and friendly attitude, thanks lads and lassies and daddy, for helping make this year a great year and keeping the people of Ireland enjoying our Pigspits and bbq.
The Pigspit and Bbq Ireland are a Irelands largest Spit and Hog roast catering company based throughout Ireland and our experienced teams provide catering throughout Munster and Ireland from Galway or Limerick in the west to Dublin in the east, from Donegal in the North to Waterford and Kilkenny in the South East.
As a company we are based in Athy but operate all over the island of Ireland. We source all our products from local Irish farms and suppliers.
Simply put our meat comes from Brenan’s in carlow and our bread form David Sexton’s farm foods in Kildare. And our Vegetables from Blanchfields in Athy.
Given these challenging economic times that we now live in, the pigspit and Bbq traditional BBQ's can offer you the chance to treat your guests (from 40 to 1000) at very affordable prices.
